Childcare center committee

The day-care center committee is made up of members of the church council and the association authorities and meets regularly to discuss the concerns of the seven day-care centers in Steinfurt, which are run by Catholics.

The topics are diverse. For example, the meetings deal with pedagogical concepts, spatial or structural measures, budgetary decisions and personnel matters. Representatives of the day care center committee together with two representatives of the facility (head of the facility and one educator) and two elected representatives of the parents form the council of the day care facilities.

The council decides on the admission criteria of the day-care center or the closing and opening times. The Kita committee works closely with the parents and educators of the facility as a representative of the provider. The Kita Committee members of the Church Council represent the facilities as shown in the caption.
