There are four group rooms in the facility, each with an adjoining room. Each group has its own washroom. There are three changing rooms in total.
There is an area with two bedrooms for the U3 group.
A breakfast café is used by all children in the facility.
The entrance hall is the focal point. A large gym and a studio complete the space.
Due to its spacious and natural outdoor area with mature trees and many open spaces, the facility offers plenty of space so that the children can move and let off steam.
The kindergarten team is jointly responsible for the quality of the educational work.
All employees like to take part in further education and training on a regular basis. In-house training courses also take place within the association.
All employees in our facility have completed prevention training and are regularly trained in first aid.
A planning day for the pedagogical staff takes place twice a year to plan the coming kindergarten year and set pedagogical standards.
Twelve specialists, a curative teacher, a PIA trainee, a student of social work and a temporary worker are currently working in the facility.

The Jenßen company takes over the building cleaning.
For us, close cooperation and contact between legal guardians, specialists and the provider is the prerequisite for good pedagogical work.
In a cooperation understood in this way, our common educational task can succeed for the benefit of the children.
The plenary meeting of parents takes place every new kindergarten year and includes the election of the new parents' council.
Two parent representatives are elected from each group to form the parent council. The parents' council meets with the professionals at regular intervals and considers which activities and festivals are planned, talks about changes in the pedagogical concept, is informed about the staffing and many other things.
Two members of the parents' council, two representatives of the providers and two pedagogical specialists form the council of the day-care facilities.
In particular, the council of day-care centers has the task of advising on the principles of upbringing and educational work, keeping an eye on the spatial, material and human resources and defining the admission criteria for the facility.

The St. Martin kindergarten is located on the outskirts of Borghorst in Wilmsberg.
In the neighborhood there are many playgrounds, fields and paths that the children like to explore.
There is a supermarket in the immediate vicinity.
A bus stop allows us to go into town, visit the market there, explore the Nicomedes Church and the library.
