Pictures of the facility

The St. Nikolaus family center has existed since 1984. There are three groups in the day-care center. Each group has an additional adjoining room and its own washroom. We have a changing room in our facility. In the Sunshine and Shooting Star groups there is group type III from three to six years and the rainbow group has type I from two to three years. We also have a separate bedroom for the U3 group.

Our spacious gym completes our range of space.

The entrance area is the focal point because this is where our religion corner is located.

Our facility has a large outdoor area. The outdoor area can be reached by the respective groups. There are a variety of play and exercise options here. Here there are u. a playhouse, slides, a nest swing, a large sandbox, a water ride and much more. m. Of course, the children also use a variety of sand toys and vehicles in the outdoor area.

Team

"Teamwork breeds trust and trust breeds growth."
- Nazim Ambalath -

Our team is characterized by openness, honesty, individuality, respect and flexibility. We are many different characters who together form a well-functioning team and complement and support each other.    Since we represent various age groups in our team, we benefit from it.

All pedagogical specialists have taken part in prevention training and regularly attend a first aid course. In addition, the Diocese of Münster offers our employees numerous further training opportunities.

Parents advice

At the beginning of a new daycare year, the parents elect the parents' council in a general assembly. This represents the interests and needs of the parents towards the professionals and the provider. The parents' council is therefore the contact for all parents of the facility, as well as the staff and the operator of the day-care center. He accepts requests, suggestions and suggestions, checks them and submits them to the day-care center management and the provider.

This year, the parents' council is made up of the following representatives:

The St.Nikolaus kindergarten is located on the outskirts of Borghorst and is surrounded by a very mixed catchment area. Rural idyll, new development areas and blocks of flats characterize the catchment area. The kindergarten is in the direct catchment area of the Dumter elementary school. At the entrance to the kindergarten there is a pedestrian traffic light that protects the kindergarten path. In addition, a large parking lot contributes to safety when bringing and fetching the children.
