Premises :

A small  Tour of our facility:

In our entrance hall there is an inviting breakfast café, where some children from both groups always have the opportunity to have breakfast from 7.15 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

The children bring a healthy breakfast from home. Parents provide drinks (mineral water).

Each group has a group room with an adjoining room that is used for painting, kneading, role-playing games or small group work.

In addition, each group has a cloakroom with a separate washroom. In the washroom there are 2 toilets with 4 sinks.

A bright, round gymnasium with a "ball pool" invites the children to run around, play or relax.

The gym wall can be variably removed so that we can enlarge the entrance hall for large parties

Exterior:

Our outdoor area invites you to run, romp and experiment.

The children have the opportunity to live out their urge to move while rocking, sliding and climbing.

Children can experiment with water in our mud area. For quieter games, they retreat to a wicker tipi or swing comfortably in the hammock.

Because all children have rain pants and rubber boots in the kindergarten, they can use the outdoor area and the nearby forest in any weather.

The Team

We are pedagogical specialists with heart and passion and attach great importance to good cooperation and having fun in our daily work. Through the openness of each individual and the appreciation of the others in the team, we create a working atmosphere in which we like to work effectively.

Working in a team requires flexibility, as you often react spontaneously to situations and changes in a two-group facility.

The educators take part in various further training courses at regular intervals.

This is how our educational work is constantly evolving.

All pedagogical employees have taken part in a prevention training course organized by the Diocese of Münster. In addition, all employees regularly take part in first-aid courses.

Since we are a training company, you will always come across students from different school types in our house.

We are also actively supported in our work by other non-teaching professionals.

Parents advice

Collaboration with parents

Together with the legal guardians, we would like to accompany the children on their way. In order for the best possible development and support of the children to succeed, it is very important to us that we work together as equals.

We see ourselves as an institution where the family and kindergarten are jointly responsible for the well-being of the children, since we both have a decisive influence on child development. Parents know their child best and are therefore experts for their children, which is why our goal is a successful educational partnership in which we can support and learn from one another. Through the transparency of our pedagogical work, we create a relationship of trust, because common goals can only be set and achieved through constant exchange. It is very important to us that we open up to each other, complement each other and enrich each other. Even in special life situations, we strive for common solutions. We are very happy to receive positive feedback as a sign of our appreciation.

Every year there is a general meeting of parents. On this evening, the parents' council is elected for a kindergarten year. This currently consists of six members.

The Parents' Council is elected annually during the Parents' General Assembly from among the parents. This is made up of 6 members of our institution.

For the KiTa year 2022/2023, the following parents were elected to the parents' council:

Felix Laumann,

Christiane Bussmann,

Sabrina Worowsky, Anne Neuhaus,

Jana Völker and Mirka Pohl

Site plan

The Adolf Kolping Kindergarten was consecrated in August 1992. Our facility is supported by the parish of St.Nikomedes.

The kindergarten is located in a building area (Grottenkamp) about five minutes by car from the city center. Located near the edge of the forest, there are countless opportunities for us to experience and explore nature up close.

Since our facility consists of 2 kindergarten groups, you will find a family atmosphere in which the families get to know each other quickly.
